The Detroit Conference United Methodist Chorale is very excited to be performing in the Holy Land.
The Detroit Methodist Chorale, under the direction of Mr Christopher L Hall, is made up of 25 adults from the Detroit, Michigan area in the United States. The members of the chorale are mostly Methodists who serve as singers, ringers and musicians in their local churches. Several of the members are music teachers, both voice and instrumental. The Chorale enjoys sharing its music with audiences in other countries.
In 1989 the first Detroit Methodist Chorale was organized to tour England and Scotland. A second chorale toured Central Europe in 1992, Scandinavia in 1995, Eastern Europe in 1998 and Ireland and Wales in 2001. In 2007 the Chorale toured and performed in Russia, Finland, Estonia and Latvia and in 2010 the Chorale toured and performed in Germany. The Chorale returned to Scotland and England again in 2014.
